What you will do:
- Lead the design and development of scalable applications within a cloud-based platform;
- Act as a technical leader, mentoring junior developers and driving best development practices across the team;
- Develop and enhance core features, including security scanning capabilities for cloud infrastructure environments;
- Build solutions that interact with cloud infrastructure components, focusing on compliance, hardening, and security validation;
- Translate technical and business requirements into robust, secure, and maintainable solutions;
- Contribute to architecture design, technical specifications, and system evolution;
- Review code, ensure quality standards, and improve overall development processes;
- Collaborate with cloud engineers, security teams, and other senior developers in a global environment;
- Maintain and evolve existing frameworks, including policy-as-code implementations (OPA/Rego);
- Support development planning, sprint execution, and release management in an Agile/Scrum environment;
- Ensure proper documentation of systems, processes, and technical decisions;
- Proactively identify issues and lead solutions with a strong sense of ownership.
What we are looking for:
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal);
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;
- Solid experience in software development;
- Strong experience in backend development and scalable system design;
- Proficiency in Go (Golang) and Python for building robust applications;
- Experience acting as a technical lead or mentoring other developers;
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and distributed systems;
- Experience or strong familiarity with security concepts, such as compliance, hardening, or secure development practices;
- Experience building solutions that interact with infrastructure or platform layers (APIs, services, or cloud environments);
- Familiarity with software architecture and building maintainable, scalable systems;
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, sprints, continuous delivery);
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead solutions end-to-end;
- Ability to work autonomously with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset;
- Experience working in collaborative and distributed/global teams;
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms or distributed environments;
- Familiarity with policy-as-code frameworks (OPA, Rego);
- Experience working in security-focused platforms or compliance-driven environments;
- Previous experience with SAP environments or products.
