Job Description
Visa’s People Advisory team is focused on balancing our capability, capacity & delivery of Visa’s people agenda through people related services & solutions for our clients. This is a key function that is supporting our People Team transformation and will continue to evolve and expand as the team grows and solidifies.
We are seeking a manager-level generalist with a client-centric mindset to provide consultative, advisory services to support managers and leading with empathy in responding to workplace matters and interactions. Initial areas of focus include talent development advisory, annual review support, team effectiveness, performance management, conflict resolution, and other policy interpretation and consultation.
Reporting to the People Advisor lead for the LAC Region, the incumbent will play a key role on elevating the manager experience across all People-related competencies and in providing coaching to managers on a variety of people management matters.
Essential Functions:

Provide support to People Leaders for a variety of situations and programs like performance management, conflict resolution, talent development, annual review support, etc.

Lead efforts with People Leaders to facilitate effective management of teams and resolve issues that may arise in the workplace between employees and managers.

Respond thoughtfully to questions regarding HR policy, process on the topics above.

Provide detailed analytics and interpretation of data to drive informed business decisions.

Respond to inquiries and provide overall cross functional support as needed, partner with other people teams as needed for inputs and alignment.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
-
3-5 years of work experience in related field with specific experience as HR generalist managing medium to complex people issues.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle priorities and have an eye for detail to ensure delivery is always accurate.

Excellent PowerPoint and Excel knowledge and can present ideas and data in a compelling way.

Strong analytical skills
