The Role
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to help build and scale the user interface of our analytics platform.
You will work closely with the founder and engineering team to design and implement high-performance data dashboards and interactive product features.
This role is ideal for a product-minded engineer who enjoys translating complex data systems into simple and elegant user interfaces.
What You’ll Work On
- Building modern React / Next.js interfaces for SaaS analytics dashboards
- Designing intuitive visualizations for large financial datasets
- Developing performant UI components for filtering, sorting, and exploring structured data
- Integrating front-end applications with backend APIs and data services
- Improving UX for complex workflows such as market screening and firm analysis
- Optimizing application performance and responsiveness
- Collaborating on product architecture and product decisions
Our Data & Backend Architecture
Our platform is powered by a large-scale data infrastructure that processes regulatory and market data related to the RIA industry.
Key components include:
- Python-based data pipelines orchestrated with Apache Airflow
- Data storage and processing using Google BigQuery and cloud data infrastructure
- Structured datasets derived from SEC regulatory filings, historical RIA data, and M&A activity
- Backend services exposing data through APIs for front-end consumption
- Ongoing machine learning and analytics models used to generate acquisition insights
The front-end application translates these datasets into interactive dashboards, firm profiles, and market screening tools for investors and executives.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional front-end development experience
- Strong expertise with React and modern JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience building data-heavy SaaS applications or analytics dashboards
- Deep understanding of component architecture and state management
- Experience integrating with REST APIs
- Strong UI/UX intuition for complex data applications
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Next.js
- Experience with data visualization libraries (D3, Recharts, Chart.js, etc.)
- Experience building analytics, BI, or dashboard-style interfaces
- Familiarity with financial or analytics platforms
- Experience working with early-stage SaaS companies
