Core Responsibilities
As an Account Strategist, you will have five key roles:
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the agency, ensuring clear communication and understanding of client goals.
- Project Coordination: Oversee website design, development, email/SMS, and paid media projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies.
- Campaign Optimization: Analyze performance metrics for email/SMS and paid media campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Client Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling services to grow client sales and expand client relationships through excellent account management and understanding of client needs.
- AI-Enabled Operations: Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve communication, documentation, reporting, task management, strategic thinking, and internal processes. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building smarter ways of working — not just using tools because they’re trendy.
Requirements:
- Based in North America, Canada, or South America
- Experience with Klaviyo
- Experience with Shopify
- Experience in ecommerce agency environment
- Experience with conversion rate optimization
- Experience with project management
- Experience managing a team of people
- Experience working with 7-8 figure e-commerce brands
- Knowledge of DTC customer lifecycle and retention marketing
- Deep understanding of e-commerce marketing and tactics
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms to support strategy, communication, research, organization, and execution
- Excited to test, build, and improve AI-assisted workflows that help the team and clients move faster with better quality
