Job Description
1、Lead and manage the last mile operations team in multiple cities in Sri Lanka, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods to customers.
2、Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
3、Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, customer service, and warehouse management to streamline end-to-end logistics processes.
4、Monitor KPIs, such as on-time delivery rates, first-time delivery success, and customer complaints, to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous operational excellence.
5、Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and performance excellence.
6、Manage budget and resources, controlling expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining service quality.
Position Requirement
1、Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2、More than 5 years of experience in last mile operations, preferably in a managerial role within a fast-paced e-commerce or retail environment.
3、Proven track record in optimizing delivery operations, reducing costs, and enhancing customer experience.
4、Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team, ensuring high performance and low turnover.
5、Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with various departments and external partners.
6、Familiarity with logistics software and tools for route optimization, fleet management, and performance tracking.
7、Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.
