Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW
The role of Demand Planner/Customer Services Support is a combined role, with the emphasis on demand planning (appr. 60%-70%) whilst also providing support for customer services (30%-40%).
The Demand Planner/Customer Services Support must have the ability to work well within a team environment, especially with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain Team, Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Forecasting, Management, R&D) and externally with dedicated Distribution Business Partners. Given the combination of tasks, the Demand Planner/Customer Services Support facilitates forecasting and demand planning meetings to assist with aligning future volume and customer specifications with order demand,
The Demand Planner/Customer Services Support is responsible for providing scenarios and guidance to the demand and supply balancing on BYND EMEA level, based on a detailed analysis and with thorough business knowledge, in such a way that availability of our products is optimized to deliver against customer requirements and to support our business objectives in terms of revenue, costs and integral inventory levels.
The Demand Planner/Customer Services Support is responsible for preparing and communicating the forecast to our production planners and ensures that the Supply Chain team receives the correct information. The Demand Planner/Customer Services Specialist is responsible for and facilitates the Demand Review bi-weekly meetings and monthly Sales team, Zandbergen and Hughes forecast meetings. And supports the S&OP, S&OE and Supply Review weekly & monthly meetings.
The Demand Planner/Customer Services Support supports specific customers for completing documentation for international orders, international order processing, international logistics and planning and overall providing exceptional customer support.
Demand planning:

Responsible for unconstrained customer demand plans, including planning for phase in & phase out of the product portfolio

Support of product rationalization evaluations

Responsible for the analysis of current sales, promotional activities, trend developments, innovations, product introductions

Responsible for the analysis and development of scenarios for supply chain and operations

Responsible for ABC analysis on turnover rate and contribution margin to determine inventory strategy at the SKU level.
Customer Services:

Support of and collaborate with Customer Services Specialist

Responsible for order processing

Pricing validation including discounts with Sales team

Organization of (international) shipments with customers and internal Supply Chain Team

Providing customers with exceptional service including but not limited to orders, product details, shipments, billing, returns and credits
