Location: Remote (Brazil-based, US/EST coverage required)
We're looking for an experienced Short-Term Rental Operations professional to fully manage our remote team and act as the ultimate point of accountability for our operation. You will manage reservations, guest communications, PMS systems, and directly supervise operational agents across multiple channels — stepping in personally whenever coverage is needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage reservations and guest communications on Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, and Expedia
- Operate and maintain the company's PMS system
- Monitor, train, and supervise operational agents on a daily basis
- Act as the final backstop for guest communications: whenever no agent is on shift, or when an on-shift agent fails to respond in time, personally handle the request
- Actively oversee agents in real time to ensure they are responding to guests and completing daily tasks — not just reviewing after the fact
- Ensure calendar, pricing, and availability sync across all channels
- Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
- Generate performance and occupancy reports for property owners
- Act as a direct extension of ownership/management — capable of fully substituting for the business owner in day-to-day operational decisions
- Collaborate directly with company management on process development
Requirements
- Proven experience with Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, or Expedia
- Experience with a PMS: Guesty, Hostaway, Hostfully, Beds24, OwnerRez, or similar
- Prior experience managing or supervising a team, ideally in hospitality or remote operations
- Excellent written communication in English and Portuguese
- Fluent English — minimum C2 level (Cambridge Scale)
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable taking full ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
- Availability for flexible/extended hours, including covering gaps when no agent is on shift, with US coverage (EST timezone)
- Must be able to operate as an independent contractor (PJ) — CNPJ required or willingness to open one
