On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking a hands-on, Maltese-speaking HR Manager with experience in the food retail industry to support the growth and structuring of their team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and works closely with both management and staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning

Develop and implement HR structures, policies, and procedures

Take an active, on-the-ground approach to daily HR operations

Lead employee engagement, performance management, and training initiatives

Ensure compliance with Maltese employment laws, health & safety, and industry standards

Handle employee relations and contribute to a positive workplace culture
Requirements:

Fluent in Maltese and English

Proven HR experience, ideally within food retail or FMCG

Hands-on approach with strong interpersonal and organisational skills

Ability to build, structure, and develop teams in a growing business
