The role
As the Strategic Account Manager, you will be the pioneering leader and central orchestrator for our most critical global accounts, including Vale, Codelco, and Nexa (a $7M ARR portfolio). Your mission is to transition high-value accounts into deep, long-term partnerships by embedding our solutions at the heart of their transformation agendas. Operating as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, you will shape global commercial frameworks and co-create innovation to drive mutual growth.
In this role you will have the opportunity to
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Act as a trusted advisor, immersing yourself in the customer’s business to co-develop solutions, lead strategic dialogues, and facilitate joint planning sessions and QBRs.
- Lead Commercial Strategy: Design and execute data-driven commercial strategies and predictive models to forecast opportunities, mitigate risks, and maximize long-term account loyalty and revenue.
- Manage Executive Stakeholders: Confidently engage board-level executives, nurturing multi-threaded relationships and building consensus across complex global organizations.
- Orchestrate Global Resources: Lead internal global teams aligned to the account, shaping governance models that meet the customer’s strategic needs.
- Influence Industry Direction: Use your unique position to align customer transformation needs with our internal product roadmaps and strategic vision.
Essential knowledge skills and experience
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in strategic sales or account management, managing large, complex global accounts within B2B software or technology environments.
- Strategic Thinking: A visionary, consultative mindset focused on long-term planning and delivering measurable business value.
- Executive Presence: Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to command a room of senior leaders and influence decisions at the board level.
- Analytical Rigor: Highly proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and building data-driven commercial strategies.
- Leadership & Influence: High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to lead through influence rather than authority, navigating ambiguity and complex structures with resilience.
