Job Summary
Security Cloud Engineer
Time Zone Requirement - US, CST
Language Requirement: English & Spanish
Skill Set Requirement:
Experience architecting, implementing, secure policies and services preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Expertise in security threat analysis and mitigation, SIEM tools, such as Google SecOps (former Chronicle), WiZ and similar tools.
Experience in defining security strategies, design and implement security strategies and governance requirements.
Experience enforcing regulatory controls and working with SOC or SecOps teams to support compliance requirements.
Expert in Identity and Access Management (IAM), defining resource hierarchies, establishing boundary protection, securing communications, and leveraging Workload Identity Federation (WIF) best practices.
Proficient in designing and implementing
Network Security Defenses (e.g., Cloud Firewall, Cloud Armor, VPC), ensuring data protection, and utilizing Observability (logging, monitoring, and Security Command Center) for threat detection and management.
Expertise in leveraging AI agents to automate, expedite, and de-risk complex security and infrastructure deployment tasks.
Expertise in secure Landingzones, Data and AI Foundations setting up perimeters for User to Agent, Agent to Agent and Agent to services communication.
Skilled in driving security-focused digital transformation using
IaC (e.g., Terraform) for compliance-driven deployment of security foundations, orchestrating secure containerized workloads via
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Best Practices: Security and securing the software CI/CD and DevSecOPs pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure On-Time Resolution And Quality Compliance Of Escalated Tickets And Incidents By Analyzing Issues Within Gcp, Adhering To Established Slas And Quality Norms.
2. Mentor Team Members And Administrators While Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (Sops) And Maintaining Comprehensive Documentation, Promoting Knowledge Sharing Across The Team.
3. Validate Change Order Implementation Plans And Ensure Compliance With Human Error Protocols While Participating In Capacity Planning Activities For Gcp Resources.
4. Facilitate Positive Customer Feedback By Actively Participating In Customer Meetings, Understanding Issues Faced, And Providing Effective Solutions That Enhance Customer Satisfaction.
5. Conduct And Validate Analyses Such As Root Cause And Trend Analysis Within Gcp, Preparing Reports That Enhance Task Performance And Are Presented To Key Business Stakeholders.
