Could you be the full-time Mechanical Designer in Taubaté we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality designs that enable the success of our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as suppliers, production sites, and engineering stakeholders), ensure design compliance with technical requirements, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of performing and maintaining Space Allocation Mock-ups (SAM) and creating detailed designs, but also support technical discussions with suppliers and contribute to installation deliverables.
We’ll look to you for:
Performing space allocation according to MLE inputs for tenders
Creating and maintaining SAM in accordance with progressive maturity rules
Developing 3D detailed designs of design-make parts, considering allocated volumes, defined interfaces, technical referential, manufacturability, and maintainability constraints
Producing 2D or annotated 3D detailed designs following internal data structuration rules
Supporting technical discussions with suppliers to converge on technical definitions
Instructing Engineering Change Requests and specifying/verifying activities delegated to the Shared Engineering Center
Providing weight data to the Weight Discipline Engineer
Contributing to stack-up calculations and expertise at production sites or supplier premises for FAI and type tests
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Graduated from a Mechanical technical school
Experience in mechanical engineering, preferably applied to heavy industry, with 2 to 3 years of experience (including 3D modeling and drawing creation)
Knowledge of CATIA V5 (or similar product) and PLM software (e.g., Enovia)
Understanding of manufacturability, maintainability, and technical referentials (e.g., materials characteristics)
English proficiency (reading, writing, and technical discussions)
Rigorous approach to work and attention to detail
Ability to interface effectively with other teams and functions
