Partner with the best
Equipment Engineering is part of the solution scope for the flexible pipe business and deals with the development of ancillary equipment necessary for logistics, installation and operation of the system. The activities consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the user’s needs. The discipline that executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed.
As a Senior Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Developing, checking and approving the design and layout of all components and systems like end fitting/ancillaries that compose the flexible pipe systems.

Creating and proposing process improvements, as well as provide technical assistance and guide the team.

Requiring understanding of a concepts, methods, and procedures
-
Resolveing problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent
-
Working together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities, and giving explanations on technical issues

Communicating with team and supervisor. Presenting to internal teams on metrics, project status and research
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical, Naval and Civil Engineering preferable)
-
Hold Active CREA
-
Have fluent or advanced English level
-
Have proven experience in Engineering/ Technology or Product Design
-
Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
-
Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
Desired Skills
A successful candidate will have good coverage of the following skills:
-
Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks and MathCAD
-
Postgraduate degree in areas related to Structural Integrity Engineering, Subsea Engineering, or other relevant Offshore/Oil & Gas disciplines
