Accounting Specialist
Overview: We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Accounting & Administrative Specialist to manage day-to-day financial operations and administrative tasks. This role is best suited for someone with 2–5 years of experience handling accounting independently for a company, who can manage multiple accounts, ensure accuracy, and support leadership with reliable financial insight.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile financial records across multiple business entities.

Record transactions, match receipts, and verify expense accuracy.

Reconcile accounts monthly and ensure accurate reporting.

Manage accounts payable and receivable; monitor cash flow and aging reports.

Prepare and submit tax filings (sales) and track compliance deadlines (brewers report, NYSLA).

Prepare payroll and related reporting.

Provide clear weekly and monthly financial summaries for ownership.

Assist with billing, collections, and payment preparation.

Maintain administrative records, licenses, and required filings.

Prepare financial documentation for audits or compliance requests.

Handle staff communication regarding payroll and related updates.
What We’re Looking For:

2–5 years of experience managing accounting independently for a company.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.

Solid understanding of tax compliance, payroll, and financial reporting.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, R365).

Experience in the hospitality or brewery industry preferred.

Business management experience a plus.
