We are currently looking for a Compliance Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring that our digital product complies with the regulatory requirements of our key international markets.
What You’ll Do
- Assess compliance risks associated with launching new projects, entering new markets, and working with companies across different jurisdictions.
- Analyse the company’s business processes and identify regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
- Develop and maintain internal compliance policies, procedures, checklists, and guidelines.
- Conduct compliance reviews of contracts, new business models, and arrangements with customers and partners.
- Work with banks, payment service providers, auditors, external advisors, and other third parties on compliance-related matters.
- Collect and prepare documents, supporting materials, and written explanations for banking, payment, and regulatory reviews.
- Maintain the compliance risk register and monitor the implementation of risk mitigation measures.
- Support the automation of counterparty due diligence and internal compliance control processes.
- Monitor changes in international laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company’s operations.
What We’re Looking For
- 1.5–3 years of experience in compliance, legal, internal controls, audit, or risk management.
- Experience working in an international company or in the IT, SaaS, fintech, payments, or broader technology sector.
- English proficiency sufficient for reviewing documents, handling business correspondence, and communicating with international advisors and counterparties.
- Russian proficiency at C1–C2 level, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to analyse regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions and translate them into clear and practical business processes.
- Experience developing internal policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
- Strong risk assessment skills and the ability to propose solutions that ensure compliance without creating unnecessary complexity for the business.
- Strong attention to detail, independence, and a structured approach to work.
- Ability to manage large volumes of information and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Experience building a compliance function or individual compliance processes from the ground up.
- Experience working with companies in the United States, Latin America, or Europe.
- Knowledge of the GDPR and other data protection and privacy regulations.
- Experience working with banks, payment service providers, and financial institutions.
- Understanding of the legal and tax risks associated with international operations.
- A degree in law, finance, economics, or a related field.
