Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Lead to own end-to-end procurement strategy and execution across CAPEX, IT, Projects, and Admin Services for our ecommerce business. This role will build and lead a high-performing procurement function, drive cost efficiency, ensure vendor compliance, and enable business growth through timely, well-governed sourcing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Lead will develop and execute category strategies for CAPEX (capital equipment, infrastructure, automation), IT (hardware, software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, telecom), Projects (new warehouse/fulfillment center setups, fit-outs, expansion projects), and Admin Services (facilities management, travel, office supplies, contracted services). They will lead vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding to build a reliable, cost-competitive, and risk-assessed vendor base; manage the full procure-to-pay cycle including PO issuance, budget compliance, and timely payment processing in coordination with finance; own contract lifecycle management, including drafting, renewal tracking, SLA monitoring, and dispute resolution; partner closely with IT, project, operations, and finance stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into procurement plans with realistic timelines; drive cost savings and value engineering initiatives through competitive bidding, should-cost analysis, and total-cost-of-ownership evaluation; build and maintain procurement dashboards/reports on spend, savings, vendor performance, and cycle times for leadership review; ensure procurement policies, approval matrices, and compliance standards are followed consistently across categories; and lead, mentor, and develop a procurement team as the function scales.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred); 8-12 years of procurement experience with demonstrated ownership of CAPEX, IT, and project-based procurement, ideally within ecommerce, retail, manufacturing, or logistics-heavy environments; a strong track record of vendor negotiation and cost savings delivery; hands-on experience with procurement/ERP systems such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement, or similar; solid understanding of contract law fundamentals and commercial risk management; and strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and procurement analytics/reporting tools.
