We are seeking a specialized Senior Python Engineer to join our team.
This position focuses on strengthening cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and engineering practices within an AWS-driven environment. The role offers the opportunity to lead impactful migrations, support secure platform initiatives, and contribute to scalable, modern engineering foundations.

-
Carry out brownfield refactors, service decommissions, and migrations, such as OAuth migrations, WAF block-mode enablement, and Mythos SAST/SCA remediations
-
Configure and tune AWS WAF rules and resolve security findings raised by SAST and SCA tooling
-
Integrate internal and third-party systems through REST APIs, including patterns such as ServiceNow OAuth client credentials flows
-
Automate operational workflows and contribute to agentic platform initiatives, with familiarity with n8n, LangChain, or comparable orchestration tools considered an advantage
-
Partner with the SRE Consultant on telemetry gaps and Lambda-based data collection automation
Requirements
-
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
-
Python development background centered on AWS Lambda and API Gateway in production environments
-
Solid command of boto3 across services including IAM, Secrets Manager, SSM, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and WAF
-
Practical Terraform skills for production-grade infrastructure as code, including authoring, refactoring, and reviewing modules
-
Functional knowledge of the Serverless Framework, including maintaining and migrating legacy stacks
-
Hands-on authoring of CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, with readiness to lead a cicd-functions to GHA migration
-
Background in setting up AWS WAF rules, switching on block mode, and assisting with incident response activities
-
Familiarity with security tools such as SAST and SCA, alongside exposure to a structured compliance framework
-
Brownfield mindset with a clear track record of migrations, decommissions, and refactors rather than greenfield builds
-
Outstanding verbal and written English communication abilities (B2+ level or higher)
