Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) specialist acting within a Centre of Excellence team, and responsible for advanced support, solution delivery, and continuous improvement of SailPoint ISC-based identity services. Acts as an escalation point for complex incidents, drives problem management, and contributes to service maturity, automation, and best practices within a managed service environment.
Act as the final escalation point (L3) for critical (P1/P2) identity incidents, restoring service rapidly and minimizing business impact in complex SailPoint ISC environments.
Perform expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis across SailPoint Identity Security Cloud components to improve platform stability and reduce recurring issues.
Work independently on complex changes, enhancements, and implementation activities, ensuring alignment with architecture standards and identity governance frameworks.
Lead problem management initiatives, identifying trends, eliminating recurring defects, and driving permanent fixes to improve service reliability.
Provide advanced SailPoint ISC expertise, applying deep knowledge of joiner, mover, leaver processes, provisioning workflows, connectors, and policy enforcement.
Mentor and supports L1 and L2 engineers, delivering knowledge transfer, training sessions, and hands-on guidance.
Engage with SailPoint vendor support at expert level, accelerating resolution of product defects and influencing technical outcomes.
Design and supports robust identity lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and effective access governance.
Implement and enhances application onboarding integrations, including directories and target systems.
Improve operational efficiency through automation and process optimization, reducing manual effort and incident volume.
Collaborate with Security, IT, and Audit stakeholders to align IAM services with organizational risk and compliance requirements.
Contribute to the ongoing development of Xalient Managed Identity services (XMIS), enhancing tooling, standards, and delivery practices, and helping shape service capabilities, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
2+ year of hands-on experience implementing SailPoint ISC, including a good architectural understanding of its technical components.
Identity lifecycle management (JML processes)
Access governance, certification campaigns, and policy enforcement
Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL-aligned)
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and service improvement
Excellent written and verbal skills for communicating technical issues and concepts in context of a business use case (impact assessment, timeline and support throughout resolution)
Expertise analyzing and troubleshooting implementation issues within SailPoint ISC.
Strong understanding of information security fundamentals in the identity and access management domain.
Clear understanding of traditional IGA on-prem vs SaaS IGA contrast and comparison.
Understanding and experience with LDAP technologies (i.e. Active Directory, OVD, OID, OpenLdap, etc.) with emphasis in direct LDAP protocol communications and management.
Understanding and experience connecting/working with one of the main cloud providers (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
Experience working with MS PowerShell, GitHub, Postman, ARC, SOAPUI, JSON, Velocity (or similar templating engine), JavaScript.
Experience with other IGA tooling, including SailPoint IIQ, highly beneficial
