This mid-level engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of full-stack services and integrations — Java/Spring on AWS (EKS) and Angular or React. They will contribute to system and integration design within the squad's standards (diagrams, contracts, trade-offs), with SR or Architect review on more complex topics.
Required skills:
Java, Spring Boot, REST, microservices fundamentals; system design with draw.io (or equivalent); full-stack ownership — Angular or React, in addition to backend; AWS and EKS; external integrations; OpenAPI design/review/evolution; testing (unit, integration, and acceptance automation); deployment ownership (CI/CD, Jenkins, promotions, rollback awareness, and pipeline improvement for services under their responsibility); SonarQube; Veracode or Checkmarx; observability and participation in incidents/RCA; Kafka/event-driven patterns as required by the backlog; secure by design; AI-native mindset per policy.
Advanced/fluent English for conversation is mandatory.
AI: strong daily use of Cursor (or equivalent) and Claude; hands-on experience with MCP and agentic workflows in work under their responsibility. Nice to have: IaC; agents/LLMs in product features; front-end performance; AWS certification.
