Senior Analytics Engineer
PST Hours : between 8:00am - 6:00pm pacific time
. You will architect well-structured, reliable models that serve as the foundation for analytics and decision-making, while ensuring seamless, high - quality data flows across the business. Your work will directly enable our supply chain, merchant planning, and inventory operations teams to make accurate, timely, and data-driven decisions. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our data ecosystem, combining hands-on modeling and pipeline development, architectural decision-making, and rapid incident response. You will partner with stakeholders across the business, set technical standards, and ensure the reliability, quality, and observability of our most critical data assets.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and own data models and pipelines between Snowflake and external platforms to power key operational and analytical workflows.
- Lead the full data lifecycle—from requirements gathering and modeling through deployment, monitoring, and documentation.
- Architect scalable, maintainable, and well-documented data models and integrations, defining best practices and technical standards.
- Proactively monitor critical data assets and pipelines, automate alerts, and resolve incidents quickly to minimize business impact.
- Collaborate with teams in supply chain, planning, allocation, and engineering to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
- Ensure data models are optimized for performance, usability, and downstream consumption.
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support production systems and address operational risks.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and shared learning.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles.
- Expert SQL skills with deep experience in Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms.
- Proven experience designing enterprise data models and building scalable ELT/ETL frameworks.
- Demonstrated success operating and supporting production-grade pipelines and data models.
- Skilled in triage, root cause analysis, and incident resolution under pressure.
- Strong communicator, able to work closely with non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- Experience with GitHub for pull requests, code reviews, and team collaboration
- Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with operational data integrations involving Blue Yonder, ERP systems, or planning/forecasting platforms.
- Knowledge of supply chain or inventory datasets.
- Familiarity with Airflow, or similar orchestration/integration tools.
- Experience with observability tooling, alerting systems, or custom monitoring frameworks
