About the role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to maintain and modernize a portfolio of employee lifecycle applications used across candidate acquisition and development. Working primarily in Python/Django with some Java/Spring Boot and React, this person strengthens integrations with enterprise platforms and helps evolve these tools toward AI-enabled, agent-based workflows.
What you will do
- Maintain and improve key Employee Lifecycle Applications, including Indeed Feedback, Palpatine, Skywalker, Compensation Offer Generator (COG), Demographic Data Collection, and Hindsight.
- Strengthen and maintain the applications' integrations with Workday and iCIMS to support the candidate and employee lifecycle.
- Enhance and modernize these applications to improve scalability, security, and user experience.
Must haves
- 4+ years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on experience with Python/Django - highest priority for back-end development.
- Hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot.
- Strong testing, debugging, and bug resolution skills.
- Experience integrating applications with LLMs, AI assistants, agents, or other generative AI capabilities.
- Strong experience with REST APIs and modern authentication and authorization patterns, including OAuth 2.0, token management, scopes, and least-privilege access.
- Familiarity with AI security and governance, including sensitive data handling, auditability, guardrails, and user-context versus system-context access.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/React.
- Good JIRA practices and strong technical documentation skills.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Experience with Workday and/or iCIMS, particularly with integrating with these systems via APIs. These are among the more common platforms we integrate with, so familiarity with them would be beneficial, but is not required.
- Hands-on experience developing or supporting MCP servers, tools, resources, or prompts.
