Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) trading offshore Brazil. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all engine room and technical systems, supporting safe marine and cargo operations.
- Lead and supervise all engine room staff and technical operations
- Plan and carry out maintenance and repair of main engines, auxiliaries and deck machinery
- Monitor and control fuel, lube oil and spare parts consumption and stock
- Ensure all machinery and systems are operated safely and efficiently at all times
- Keep engine room records, logbooks and maintenance reports up to date
- Ensure full compliance with company procedures, Class, flag and safety rules
- Support vessel operations during DP, cargo and offshore supply activities
- Valid Chief Engineer (Unlimited) CoC suitable for offshore/PSV operations
- Previous experience as C/E on offshore vessels, preferably PSV
- Valid STCW certificates, medical fitness and seafarer documents as per regulations
- Strong knowledge of engine room systems, DP-related equipment and planned maintenance
- Good English communication skills
- Team leader with a strong safety mindset and hands-on approach
