About this opportunity:
We are especially focused on integrating artificial intelligence across all aspects of our daily work—including software development, testing, and troubleshooting—to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. We are looking for Software Developers to join the Ericsson Service Orchestration and Assurance (ESOA) product team. In this role, you will build and operate cloud‑native microservices and help evolve our AI‑native platforms used across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on software developer with experience in microservices and cloud‑native architectures (Kubernetes, containers) and a strong interest in GenAI / LLM‑based solutions in production. Experience with AI platforms and LLM tooling is a strong plus, but a solid developer background in microservices is the core requirement.
What you will do:
Develop production-grade software, unit tests, and automated test software for ESOA - Ericsson Service Orchestration and Assurance product.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during testing, contributing to continuous product improvement.
Participate in software integration testing in the lab—independently and as part of a team.
Review and provide feedback on software designs and test plans to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Design and scale AI-native enterprise platforms using LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic AI workflows, knowledge graphs, and persona-driven AI systems.
Build and operate model serving and inference platforms on Kubernetes (e.g., KServe, Seldon, BentoML or similar).
Design ML pipelines and orchestration using Kubeflow, MLflow, Airflow, and model registries.
Implement hallucination mitigation, grounding strategies, and AI evaluation frameworks.
Establish AI monitoring, data drift detection, and Responsible AI governance practices.
Design secure, multi-cloud AI solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Drive AI roadmap planning, business case development, and executive-level technical presentations.
Design Cloud Native & AI Native CI/CD pipelines using GitOps and tooling like ArgoCD, Flux, Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI, Spinnaker.)
Build highly performant and observable microserives using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger/Zipkin, ELK/EFK.
Using databases like Cassandra, Postgres, Oracle and EDM to handle data at scale.
Build AI tools that improve development, test and release productivity using Amazon Kiro, Amazon bedrock, Amazon agent core, LangChain, LangFuse and LangGraph
The skills you bring:
Solid, recent experience as a software developer, building and maintaining production microservices in a cloud‑native environment.
Strong proficiency in Python, with a foundational understanding of operating systems and computer science fundamentals.
Hands‑on experience with containers and Kubernetes:
Deploying microservices to Kubernetes clusters (e.g., deployments, services, config, Helm or similar).
Experience with APIs (REST/gRPC) and service‑to‑service communication.
Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to observability tooling (at least one of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Zipkin or similar) and understanding of why and how services are instrumented for health, performance and latency.
Understanding of security fundamentals for microservices:
IAM / single sign‑on concepts.
TLS in transit, certificates, and secret management (e.g., handling credentials, tokens, keys).
Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows (code reviews, branching strategies).
Advanced English (spoken and written) and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate in a global team.
