We're looking for a Sysadmin / Kubernetes Engineer based in Brazil to deploy and manage geographically distributed, production-grade Kubernetes infrastructure optimized for telecom and edge cloud environments — working directly with customers to deliver and extend a cutting-edge platform.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain a client's platform running on Kubernetes
- Manage high-performance, geographically distributed cloud-native infrastructure for telecom and networking customers
- Troubleshoot and monitor Linux systems and Kubernetes clusters with a focus on networking and cloud edge
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Extend product features through hands-on platform deployment, hardware integration, and code testing
- Contribute to open-source projects using Ansible, Python, OpenStack, StarlingX, Git
- Support cloud infrastructure operations and optimize Kubernetes networking functionalities
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a System Administrator
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, networking, and cluster management
- Proven experience with Linux system configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring
- Strong networking expertise: protocols, routing, switching, and VPN
- Customer-facing experience with solid technical communication skills
- Software engineering background related to telecom or data networking
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Portuguese: Upper-Intermediate or higher
- English: Upper-Intermediate or higher
- Based in Brazil
Nice to have:
- Kubernetes certification (CKA, CKSS, or CKAD)
- Familiarity with storage systems and cloud-native solutions
- Experience with Ansible, Python scripting, OpenStack, StarlingX, or Git
