OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Master (CPT) to lead operations on a PSV working offshore Brazil. You will be in command of the vessel, crew and cargo, ensuring safe and efficient operations at all times.
- Overall command of the PSV and crew
- Plan and execute safe navigation and offshore operations
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, flag state and international regulations
- Oversee cargo and deck operations, including DP operations when required
- Lead, train and motivate officers and crew
- Maintain high standards of safety, environmental protection and ship maintenance
- Communicate effectively with charterers, agents and shore management
- Valid Master Mariner (Unlimited) CoC, meeting STCW requirements
- Strong PSV / offshore vessel experience, preferably in DP operations
- Previous experience as Master or Chief Officer on similar offshore vessels
- Valid offshore medical and required offshore survival/safety courses
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Strong leadership, decision-making and safety mindset
