The Role
The Technical Solutions Specialist for Data Management at Seequent plays a key role in engaging with customers across the Mining, Civil, Environmental, and Energy sectors. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of Seequent's data management products, including the Central platform, MX Deposit, Imago, and OpenGround. This position involves providing comprehensive technical support, training, and project assistance to ensure customers are maximizing the value of our solutions. Acting as a regional technical advocate, you will provide crucial feedback to our software development teams and support the local sales team with product demonstrations and implementation plans, ensuring a smooth transition for clients from trial to commercial use.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide well-rounded technical support and project assistance for Seequent's data management solutions and partner products.
- Act as the regional technical advocate for Seequent's Data Management portfolio, supporting the sales team with product demonstrations and implementation plans.
- Deliver training to new customers to integrate Seequent solutions into their workflows and mentor junior team members to build their confidence.
- Collaborate with the global team to build best practices and well-structured demonstrations, training, and implementation plans.
- Proactively contact users to complete health checks and identify opportunities for additional support, training, or sales.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Fluent in English & Portuguese.
- A degree in geosciences, geoscience engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in geoscience and data management.
- Experience with data management, geoscience, or engineering-related 3D modeling software, ideally the Leapfrog suite.
- A strong understanding of data structures, integrations, networking technology, and platforms.
Assets:
- Confident oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in Spanish considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and build sustainable working relationships.
- A proven team player with effective conflict management skills.
- An understanding of how cultural differences can influence business relations.
- The ability to work well independently, manage your workload effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
