Purpose
Help manage the IT infrastructure projects and operations, to ensure functioning in the area of network and telecommunications, applications hosting, hardware and servers, according to business and IT needs.
You will report to the Network & Distributed Infra Ops Manager.
Your Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure delivery
Collaborate with the Regional Service Desk and IT Competency Centre resources on the project.
Implement local IT projects.
Secure implementation of global projects locally.
Maintain understanding of technology trends and directions.
IT Infrastructure operations
Ensure the availability and continuity of the infrastructure services in your scope
Manage technical solutions operated in the sites under your responsibility.
Involved in Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
Provide workarounds based on Service Level Objectives.
In the case of Problem Management, collaboration with IM&T Competency Centers to ensure corrective actions.
Propose or recommend IM&T Infrastructure Services modifications.
Refer more complex problems to problem managers and senior-level managers.
Support Infra Analysts with their relevant activities
Information Security
Academic Background
Required university degree in IT related degree.
Professional Experience
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience.
Technical Skills
Technical knowledge of IT, including networking, virtualization, storage management, backup, mobility solutions, and disaster recovery strategies for systems deployed on multiple platforms.
ITIL foundations or similar.
Knowledgeable with tooling to automate monitoring and procedures.
Fluent in Portuguese and advanced knowledge of English required.
