We are hiring a Creative Lead to elevate the quality of our creative output, lead ideation, and ensure world-class design execution across all campaigns.
Role Overview
This is a remote creative leadership role combining creative direction + senior design leadership.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading creative ideas and campaign concepts
- Improving overall design quality across the agency
- Mentoring and guiding designers
- Ensuring all creative work is strategically strong and visually excellent
- Acting as the bridge between creative thinking and design execution
You will work closely with strategists, account managers, copywriters, and marketers to bring campaigns to life from concept to final delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Direction
- Lead brainstorming sessions for nonprofit campaigns.
- Develop creative concepts for fundraising and awareness campaigns.
- Translate client goals into strong creative directions and storytelling ideas.
- Build moodboards, references, and campaign concepts.
- Ensure campaigns are emotionally engaging and strategically effective.
- Collaborate with strategy, copy, and account teams on campaign direction.
Design Leadership & Execution
- Oversee and improve the quality of all design deliverables.
- Review and QA all creative work before client delivery.
- Maintain high standards across typography, kerning, leading, layout, composition, colour, and branding.
- Ensure consistency across ads, social media, emails, landing pages, and digital assets.
- Provide hands-on design support where needed.
- Improve internal design systems, templates, and workflows.
Team Development
- Mentor designers and improve technical design skills across the team.
- Provide clear, constructive creative feedback.
- Help build a strong, consistent creative culture within the agency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional design experience.
- At least 2+ years in a senior/lead or managerial design role.
- Strong portfolio of high-quality digital design work.
- Expert understanding of:
- Typography
- Kerning
- Leading
- Layout
- Composition
- Colour theory
- Branding
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).
- Experience designing for:
- Paid ads
- Social media
- Email marketing
- Landing pages
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to give clear, actionable creative feedback.
- Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
- Must have your own reliable laptop/desktop for remote work.
- Strong internet connection for remote collaboration.
- Experience in agency environments is highly preferred.
- Experience working with charities or NGOs is a plus.
