Responsibilities:
- Develop training programs and assessments
- Manage training content and technical materials related to skills development
- Contribute to discussion forums and uphold the safety philosophy and high technical standards of Vertiv technicians
- Oversee the Vertiv Academy within your region
- Deliver high-level training to Vertiv clients and partners
- Participate in "Train-the-Trainer" programs and assist in the implementation of new facilities within the region
- Participate in field activities
- Develop and conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) sessions
- Research new methodologies and their application in training programs
- Promote and apply safety protocols in day-to-day activities, ensuring the proper use of PPE and fostering a safety-first mindset throughout the entire organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Industrial Technology, Technical Education, or a related field, or equivalent technical training and professional experience..
- Languages: Intermediate English and Spanish.
- At least 2 years of experience working as a mechanical technician
- Must have good planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Must be team oriented.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Skill in personal computer use and various applications programs, i.e., spreadsheets, CAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Solid Edge, communications, etc.
- Previous experience as an instructor will be considered a plus.
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Office work environment and some exposure to manufacturing and lab environment which would require the use of personal protection equipment.
