We are looking for a professional to join a lean Controllership team, taking responsibility for the execution and follow-up of the area's core processes. This role will play an important part in ensuring the quality of financial information, supporting the monthly closing process, and improving the area's processes and controls.
- Support Controllership and Accounting routines, including monthly closing, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, billing, cost allocation, and international transactions;
- Execute and follow up on monthly financial closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery;
- Analyze accounts and identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies and inconsistencies;
- Act as the main point of contact with the external accounting firm, ensuring alignment, data quality, and timely execution of closing activities;
- Monitor the consistency of financial information across systems, reports, and different data sources;
- Support audits, due diligence processes, and internal control activities;
- Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the development and enhancement of processes and controls;
- Prepare financial analyses and reports to support leadership decision-making;
- Work closely with different areas of the company to gather information, resolve pending issues, and ensure Controllership activities move forward.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields;
- Experience in Controllership, Accounting, or related areas;
- Practical experience with financial closing, account reconciliations, account analysis, and internal controls;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when investigating financial discrepancies;
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Google Data Studio, or similar;
- Experience with ERP systems. NetSuite experience is a plus;
- Advanced English, both written and spoken;
- Availability to work on-site twice a week at our office in Pinheiros, São Paulo/SP.
- Experience in growing companies, lean environments, or contexts involving process development and structuring;
- Experience with international operations;
- Experience improving or implementing financial processes and controls.
